Fraud Intelligence Blockchain Network Update — Spring 2026
Platform Updates & New Horizons
March 2026
Dear FIB Network Member,
The growth of our network continues to accelerate. As fraud signal volumes across the FIB community have increased significantly, we've invested in platform improvements that directly enhance your experience — and we have several major announcements to share. This is one of our most significant updates yet.
Platform Upgrade
Performance Improvements Across the Board
Growing volumes of fraud signals are a testament to the health and engagement of our network — and they've driven us to significantly upgrade the FIB platform's infrastructure. The result is a faster, more responsive experience, whether you're contributing intelligence or retrieving it.
The Web UI and API have both received performance enhancements for contributing and retrieving fraud intelligence. Contribution payload sizes have been increased to 5,000 records per call — enabling higher-throughput integrations and more efficient batch workflows for contributing members.
What's improved:
- 5,000 records per API call
- Faster Web UI response times
- Enhanced performance for both Contribute & Retrieve
Major Milestone
The World's First Real-Time Fraud Firewall & Blockchain Intelligence Integration
We are incredibly proud to announce a landmark moment for the industry: the first live global integration between a real-time fraud firewall and a blockchain-based fraud intelligence ledger.
Live Integration: Six Degrees Fraud Firewall ↔ FIB Blockchain Ledger
This milestone has been made possible through our collaboration with Six Degrees and one of their operator clients. The bi-directional connection between a real-time fraud firewall and the FIB ledger sets a new standard for operationalising fraud intelligence at the network edge — instantly, transparently, and at scale.
This is the first of several such integrations in the pipeline. We look forward to sharing more in the coming months as additional operators and firewall vendors come on board.
Ecosystem Growth
Strategic Partnerships Expanding the FIB Network
Our ecosystem continues to grow. We are pleased to have formally announced partnerships with two leading players in telecom fraud and assurance:
- Symmetry Solutions — ANNOUNCED
Symmetry curates PRISM — the world's largest source of real-time threat intelligence for International Revenue Share Fraud (IRSF) destinations. The integration of PRISM's intelligence with the FIB network strengthens our collective defence against one of telecom's most costly types of fraud. Combined with FIL's crowdsourced consortium intelligence, this partnership delivers powerful, real-time, actionable insights to every member. - Neural Technologies — ANNOUNCED Neural Technologies is a globally recognised leader in fraud management and revenue assurance software for communications service providers. This partnership further deepens FIL's reach into the operational fraud management layer, connecting blockchain intelligence with proven network-level detection and response capabilities.
Coming Soon
What's Next for the FIB Platform
We are actively developing two new capabilities that will give FIB members deeper visibility into how their network assets are being targeted — and the tools to act on that intelligence directly.
- Benchmarking
Benchmarking will give telcos a clear picture of how their network assets — numbers, IP ranges, and routes — are being used and abused by fraudsters across the consortium. In an increasingly risk-averse ecosystem, blocking a number or IP address carries a real cost: every blocked asset has a direct bottom-line impact. Benchmarking ensures operators can compare their exposure against the broader network, make informed decisions, and avoid over-blocking by ensuring assets are only actioned when the intelligence genuinely warrants it.
- Alerts
Alerts will be an opt-in service that notifies telcos in real time whenever a member adds one of their network assets to the FIB ledger. This gives operators the immediate opportunity to investigate, take appropriate action, or flag the contribution as a false positive — putting them firmly in control of their own data. For operators managing a large number of ranges or IP estates, Alerts transforms the FIB from a passive intelligence source into an active monitoring tool.
