TMT ID And FIL Announce Strategic Partnership To Deliver Market-Leading Fraud Intelligence Capabilities Globally

London, United Kingdom — TMT ID and Fraud Intelligence Limited today announced a strategic partnership to collaborate and innovate together to combat fraud.

Fraud Intelligence Limited is a UK joint venture between Orillion Solutions and Soramitsu. It’s redesigned technology permits the exchange of data concerning an expanding range of frauds, furthering the vision of a fraud intelligence exchange where approved telecommunications companies, software vendors and industry groups work together in a community led initiative to fight fraud through cooperation and technological innovation. This leading core was built on Hyperledger Iroha: a form of blockchain that only allows data to be shared amongst participants under specified conditions, making it ideal for solutions that rely on controlled access to sensitive data, with unimpeachable trust.

The partnership will see TMT ID integrate its leading TeleShield mobile number intelligence data with the Fraud Intelligence Blockchain Platform. TMT ID’s TeleShield service can confirm the validity of both originating (calling) and terminating (called) telephone numbers. For specialized use cases, TeleShield also has the ability to perform real-time queries to confirm whether a telephone number has been assigned to a subscriber. Fraud Intelligence Teams using this combined data will be able to derive improved actionable insights against both existing and emerging fraud. Fraud Intelligence Limited will add integrations of the Fraud Intelligence Blockchain for contributing fraud intelligence as well as providing data insights.
